We build and operate a catalogue of the commercial software, services and tools used across life-science R&D. It is open to anyone, it needs no account, and it grows every week.
What we do
There is no single place to find out what commercial software exists for a scientific problem. A vendor's site ranks for the vendor's own name and almost nothing ranks for a capability, so the way most teams answer what is out there for variant calling is still to ask around - and the answer they get back is whoever somebody happened to have heard of.
SciZar closes that gap. We index the open web continuously, read every product off its maker's own pages, and file it against a reviewed taxonomy of scientific fields, categories and capabilities. The result is a catalogue you can walk from a broad field down to a specific capability, and see side by side the vendors that serve it.
Life sciences is where we started - drug discovery, biotech, pharma, genomics, cheminformatics, clinical research and the lab informatics that ties them together. The platform underneath is built to take further scientific domains.

If your products are not listed, the people looking for them cannot see you. Listing is free and we go looking ourselves, but you are welcome to send us what we have missed. Corrections and removals are handled on request.
Data and platform partners
The catalogue is available as data, as an MCP server and through an API, under licence. Tell us what you are building and we will talk it through.
